Alan AndersonCurry College.Perhaps what the world needs most is a religion that lovingly includes diversity, that invites all people to turn within themselves to find their individualization of the universal Reality (of whatever name, or none), a religion that offers techniques for using their awareness of the ultimate presence to solve their daily problems. New Thought has been doing this for more than a century of inspiring people, healing them, and encouraging them to engage in what is new thought and practice for them.
Perhaps the best description for New Thought is William James's chapter title, "the religion of healthy-mindedness." Ervin Seale often referred to New Thought by this name. Whatever else healthy-mindedness may be, it is open-mindedness, a willingness to grow in understanding of oneself and of others, whether individuals or groups. It means reserving the right to change one's mind, to be "open at the top" for new growth stimulated by whatever new light may come, open to God's ever-new self-revelation in ourselves. Whatever our faiths, may we all welcome whatever new thought we discover, with or without capital letters.

I hope that we understand the god in tru spirit and essence.

MY NEVR FAILING FRIENDS ARE THEY...

My Father died in 2001 with Cancer and in his last days he had lot of ideas of doing the social work and spiritual activity. some seven eight days before he died ha called for a paper and wrote My never failing friends are they with whom i converse day by day- Robert Southey. and he kept that paper in his book shelf visible. i have laminated that page and kept i was holding many of his books for years then i found that many of these books are irrelevant for the new generations and then i stared donating books to the visitors and public libraries so that a space for new books could be created in home. before death when he could walk i took him a for a small one and he told all that we read in the books now i find relevant and realisable one that is the fun and as told in bhagwad gita in 6th adhayaya if not in this birth i may be liberated may be next birth it will happen...

This keeps me inspiring and gives a lot of energy to live.

restoring old books and making people realise the importance of reading is very important.

Reading is a therapy used for improvement in personality.

i wish to share my knowledge of books if anybody is interested or my never failing friends are they.....
